Leads, Collars & Harnesses

We have a large variety of leads, collars, and harnesses available for you to choose from. We will be happy to discuss the best options for you and your pet. In a car, it's as important to provide your pet with a seatbelt as it is to wear one your self. We sell car harnesses of various sizes to protect your pet in the case of an accident, and restrain your pet from distracting you while you drive.

For dogs that are difficult to control when walking, we have "Haltis" and "Gentle Leaders". These similar products gently control the movement of your dog's snout to allow you to maintain control at all times. They are invaluable tools in training your dog to walk properly on a lead.

Toys

In order to keep your dog's mind and body active and healthy, dog toys are an important part of your dog's lifestyle.

For puppies, we recommend the "Puppy Kong". This kong is specifically designed for puppies during teething (aged approximately 2 - 9 months). Fill it with treats, food, or peanut butter and it will keep your puppy out of trouble for hours. It also promotes healthy tooth and gum development and good chewing behaviour.

For adult dogs, we have a larger version called "Jawz". And, for dogs who can't resist the water, we have "Aquatoys".

Shampoos

Your pet's skin is 10 times more sensitive than your own skin, so it is important to use a good pet shampoo when bathing your cat or dog. Using shampoos designed for humans can cause severe irritation and discomfort to your pet. We have medicated shampoos for various skin conditions, hypoallergenic shampoos, and various soothing shampoos with ingredients such as aloe and oatmeal to make your pet clean, comfortable and luxuriously soft.

Eye & Ear Care

"Crystal Eye" is formulated to prevent or gently remove tear and other stains from your cat or dog's fur. It has been tested by professional groomers and breeders.

We have a variety of ear cleaners to clean the ear canal or treat otitis externa or mite, bacterial or fungal infections in dogs and cats. If you suspect that your pet might have an ear infection, please contact us to make an appointment as soon as possible.

Fleas, ticks, worms and other parasites can seriously affect your pet's health. Aside from the immediate discomfort of flea bites, fleas can cause flea allergy dermatitis, spread tapeworms, result in secondary skin irritations and in extreme cases, anaemia.

Ticks can spread disease, and in this area in particular, the paralysis tick can quickly cause paralysis followed by death. Intestinal worms can cause diarrhaea, weight loss, vomiting and discomfort. Heartworms invade the heart, disrupting circulation, and can be fatal.

We offer a very wide range of products to keep your pet safe from parasites such as fleas, ticks, and worms. They come in a variety of forms, including tablets, chewables, suspensions, top spot-applicators, and injections. We will work with you to come up with parasite protection that suits your lifestyle while protecting your pet. For example, many of our customers prefer giving their pet an annual heartworm injection along with their vaccination, rather than worrying about daily tablets.

Citronella Collar

Problems with barking? Try a citronella collar! When your dog barks, the collar releases a spray of the plant-based citronella fragrance, which is unpleasant to dogs. We have citronella collars available for hire as well as for purchase.

This CD contains a full program for managing noise phobias in your dog. It discusses reasons for these phobias and the therapies involved in solving them. It also provides both real and re-engineered sound effects to train your dog to feel more at ease during the noises of storms.
