Reza graduated from Queensland University with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science, postgraduate diploma and PhD in Veterinary Medicine and Reproduction. After working in a variety of practices throughout southeast Queensland, Reza opened his own practice, Parkinson Veterinary Surgery on July 25th, 2007.
Reza’s main interests are internal medicine, cytology, soft tissue surgery, and animal behavior.
Chris, seen here with his standard poodles Calvin and Bella, graduated from Sydney University with a BVSc in 1981. After graduating, he worked for 2 years in mixed practice in NSW, then as a locum in mixed practice in England for 5 years. He then worked in Sydney for 1 year before joining a small animal practice in Southport, Qld, where he stayed for 13 years.
Subsequently, he studied and gained membership of the Australian Veterinary College in small animal medicine. Since then he has done locum work in small animal practices in the Gold Coast/Brisbane area.
Chris is particularly interested in small animal medicine and surgery and enjoys attending and keeping up to date on new trends in small animal practice.
Sandy has a degree in Information Technology and together With Reza built this practice. Sandy is great with computer technicalities, customer relations, advertising, general office procedures and her expertise in these areas facilitates to the overall smooth running of the clinic.
Sandy also has a creative flair which she uses to create beautiful flower arrangements which are often on display in the clinic.
Jesse has been vet nursing since 2004 and has been part of the team at Parkinson Vet since early 2008. Jesse enjoys all aspects of working in a veterinary clinic however a lot of her training and passion is working in surgical and medical nursing.
Jesse loves working at Parkinson Vet Surgery because of the friendly team members and the excellent, professional treatment of all animals. working conditions and friensinceAt home Jesse enjoys the company of a boy crazy Bull Terrier named Winter and stubborn Staffy named Jet.
Lisa has always had a strong passion to work with animals and has been working in the industry for 3 years and qualified with a Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing in 2008.
She started off doing work experience for 6 months at Parkinson Vet and then, after graduating from TAFE, she was offered a vet nursing position.
At home Lisa enjoys spending time with her horses Sonnet and Banjo and her 3 dogs Murphy a German Shepherd cross, Bonnie a Mini Foxie and Diesel a playful German Shepherd pup. She also has chooks and guinea pigs to add to her fury family.
Nicole is the newest member to our team arriving in Australia in February 2010, she hails from Auckland New Zealand. Nicole is a qualified Veterinary Nurse with a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, she has been working as a Veterinary Nurse for 4 years in New Zealand but decided to pack her bags, to gain work and life experience on the other side of the ditch.
Animal Care and Veterinary Nursing has been a life long passion for Nicole and she sees it as her Dream Job! She has two cats back in New Zealand residing with her parents, Whiskers ‘the old girl’ and a young mischievous boy Archie.

Vivian has been volunteering for Parkinson since the very beginning. Her passion and dedication to the health and wellbeing of animals has given her the drive to come and help us every Saturday.
Vivian has a full-time government job where she has developed excellent social skills which she uses in liaison with our pets parents especially in difficult or sad situations. With these skills and the experience and confidence Vivian has gained from volunteering she intends to one day change to a career in the animal industry.
You will see Jennifer’s friendly face on Wednesday when she assists our groomer with hydro-baths and general grooming. She has a great love for animals like all the staff at Parkinson Vet surgery. Jennifer gives our patients and boarding cats lots of attention with kisses and cuddles.
Jennifer is a full-time groomer, working in different practices in the Brisbane area. She is with us once a week on Wednesdays.
